2021 Select Agent and Toxin Reporting Requirements Webinars

In fall 2021, the Federal Select Agent Program held two multi-agency public webinars on reporting requirements related to the select agent regulations. During the events, speakers discussed the submission of APHIS/CDC Form 2, APHIS/CDC Form 3, and APHIS/CDC Form 4, among other topics. The presentations are available for download below:

2019 Entity Annual Internal Inspections Webinar

On April 18, 2019, the Federal Select Agent Program (FSAP) held a webinar regarding the revised policy involving the entity annual internal inspection required by section 9(a)(6) of the select agent regulations. The video of the webinar and presentation are available for download below.

2019 Responsible Official Workshop

On July 23-25, 2019, the Federal Select Agent Program (FSAP) hosted a workshop for Responsible Officials at the U.S. Departure of Agriculture headquarters in Washington, D.C. The workshop included discussions related to compliance with the select agent regulations and provided participants with information about the program’s electronic information system, eFSAP. The event also provided attendees an opportunity to network with colleagues.The workshop presentations are available for download below:

2018 Responsible Official Workshop

On August 15-17, 2018, the Federal Select Agent Program (FSAP) held a multi-day in-person workshop for Responsible Officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta, GA.  The workshop provided participants with information about the eFSAP information system portal, laboratory facilities engineering, biosafety risk assessment, common reported incidents, as well as an opportunity to network with colleagues.  The workshop presentations are available for download below:
